About Intellectual Property

Intellectual Property (IP) rights are legal rights that cover abstract and intangible assets and creations, such as inventions, industrial designs, logos, and artistic works such as music or literature.  The most common types of Intellectual Property rights are Patents, Trade Marks, Industrial Design rights, and Copyright.

The different types of Intellectual Property, and how these can be of use to you, are discussed in more detail on the following pages. However, Intellectual Property is a complex subject area, with many variations between different territories/countries, and if you would like more information on how to protect your Intellectual Property, or how IP could be of use to you or your business, then please contact me.
